PhysioEdHub HK ("we", "the app") is a Hong Kong physiotherapy CPD (Continuing Professional Development) reference tool. The web app at physioedhub-hk-1.onrender.com and the iOS / Android apps share the same backend; this policy applies to both.
When you sign in with Apple or Google, the provider returns your name and a verified email (or a private relay email if you chose Apple's "Hide My Email"). We store only those fields and a stable user identifier to keep you logged in across sessions.
Data is stored on our backend hosted with Render (render.com) in their default region. The app does not ship its own database; it talks to the same backend whether you use the web or the mobile app.
You can request a copy of your data or correction of inaccurate data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account and all of its personal data directly inside the mobile app: open the account menu (top-right) or your Learning Profile and choose Delete account. After a two-step confirmation this permanently removes your profile (name, email, PT registration number, phone), your saved CPD records, and your saved courses and reviews. The removal is immediate and cannot be undone. Public course information and the List of Registrants are unaffected. If you signed in with Apple, you can also stop sharing your Apple ID from iOS Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple. Web users can request deletion by contacting us at the email below.
PhysioEdHub HK is intended for licensed physiotherapists and physiotherapy students. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We will update this page when the policy changes. Material changes will be highlighted in the app on next sign-in.
